Update on 30 Hour Famine for the Youth:
This year the teens of Innerchange Youth Group raised a total $3,095.50 for World Vision. This year's funds were matched at 6 times the amount! As $1 a day feeds a child, that means many, many children are being fed & helped as a result of our teens' efforts. Over the 5 years our teens have participated in 30 Hour Famine, they have raised $15,281.97 to help children in need! Thank you to the church for your help to accomplish this!

Dear Cedar Heights,
Thank you so much for recognizing me as a graduate and giving me a study Bible. Your gift will be helpful for me when I try to understand the words of God. I really enjoyed worshipping with you on Sundays since it was so different than in Germany. I am glad that I got to know so many wonderful people. Thank you,
Sincerely,
Lena Orthey (International student staying with Mark & Elaine Slade)

Dear Prayer Warriors,
Just a quick email to ask you to pray for the Niobrara, NE VBS. I just got off the phone with the director and Niobrara is going to impacted by the flooding due to the release of Missouri dam waters. Their VBS is scheduled for next week, June 6-10. Niobrara is surrounded by the Missouri and Niobrara Rivers. The town has been put on alert and are sandbagging. They've been told that there is a great possibility that the east and west roads coming into Niobrara will be completely under water. Travel will be greatly affected. If flooded, the roads will be impassable until December. There are additional gravel routes into Niobrara, but families would have to drive 10-20 miles out of their way to attend the VBS each day. And there is no guarantee that some places on those roads will stay open, either. Needless to say, we need to pray for this small community. Please pray that the Lord's will will be done concerning the VBS and that Satan will not be able to keep children (and teachers) from attending the VBS!
Thank you for praying!
Becky
