Dear Church Family-
As we prepare to leave for Mission Denver, many of you have asked how you can help! We will be driving from Cedar Falls, to Denver on June 19th. We will be leaving late, and driving through the night. As a way to cut costs (and stops!) we've decided to pack a breakfast for Monday morning. If you'd be interested in donating fruit, juice, muffins, or other snacks for the drive, we'd really appreciate it! Any and all items can be placed in the church kitchen, please labels all items "mission denver." Feel free contact Nicole Bolthouse with any questions!

Just an update on my current situation. I'm seeing some progress in healing in my left leg/knee; it's not at 100% but it is getting closer to where it needs to be. My right leg/knee is still incredibly painful. The pain often wakes me up at night. The doctor says this could be a very long process and I must be patient. I see him again on Monday, June 13. I am not at the point where I can put any weight on either leg. I'm still in bed or in a wheelchair at all times. My parents are still here helping, which is a huge blessing to my family. I know God has lessons for me during this time. I am trying to rely more on His will for my life. He is in control and I know He loves me, but the path is getting long and at times I am discouraged. I do appreciate that people are praying and ask for continued prayers.
