Cedar
Heights Baptist Church is celebrating our 50 th
year anniversary in 2008. We are excited to inform you that
we are planning 4 commemorative weekends in 2008 in which
we will…
1) Praise the Lord for His faithfulness
2)
Remember our church's rich history and
3)
Recognize and honor former pastors and their wives
Therefore,
we want you to reserve on your 2008 calendar the following
weekends.

March 1-2
•
May 30-June 1
•
September 13-14
•
December 5-7
Each
weekend we will have special speakers, special music, testimonies,
picture memories and times of fellowship and food. In March
we will hold a special service at Cedar Heights Elementary
School , where our church held its first official meeting
50 years ago. We will have a special carnival and concert
in June. In September we are celebrating a major outreach
on UNI's campus. And we will finish our year of Jubilee with
a banquet and concert held at the Park Place Centre in December.
Every weekend will be a great time of reunion with old friends,
reflecting on cherished memories and rejoicing in God's glory.
We
would love for you to join us in attending one or all of our

If you have any questions or need housing for a weekend please
call me or e-mail me and I'll be glad to help.
I
would also like to ask you to start thinking about special
memories you have regarding CHBC. We would love for you to
come and share your thoughts during one of our many testimony
times. And if you are not able to attend any of our weekends
I would love for you to send us a memory or testimony that
highlights your time at CHBC. We want to know how God has
