Welcome Elsa Joy Wiens!!  She ws born at 12:01 this afternoon to Scott and Ivy Wiens.  Mom and daughter are doing well and will probably go home tomorrow (July 15).  They are at Allen hospital.

Helen Nichols, the oldest member of CHBC, will be honored this Sunday afternoon for her 100th birthday.  There is an Open House at the Lutheran Home Activity Center from 1 to 3 p.m.

The church is looking to expand and improve its library. 

It is in need of two flat screen monitors and computers that can meet the following requirements:

*Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows Server 2008
*1 GHz or faster processor
*1 GB or higher of RAM
*1 GB of free hard drive space for typical installations

If you can donate any of these items, please contact the church office ASAP (by Sunday, August 18)!
